Bella -beautiful then, beautiful now!

I asked Bella's mommy to share Bella's story  -it is full of inspiration.
Oh, and I had to sneak in one of Bella's newborn pics.

In Mommy's words:
She sleeps every night and wakes up happy, she eats scrambled eggs like there's no tomorrow, and loves to kiss the baby in the mirror. (wouldn't you?) She loves to pick out a favorite book and start "reading" and flipping through pages, studying each one. and oh yeah, her smile will make you melt...

Bella was diagnosed with an uncorrectable vision disorder, causing her some degree of visual impairment. She is already surprising us with how she uses her vision, and her sight seems to be improving, contrary to her doctors' prognosis. Ever hear of a miracle? The Foundation for Blind Children (not just for "blind" children) has provided ongoing vision therapy to Bella and related education to us. Their support has been valuable to us in taking on this challenge. To learn more about the FBC, go to seeitourway.org
